Good NEWS for All in Every Direction
“As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” – Proverbs 25:25
N – North
E – East
W – West
S – South
Against the backdrop of bad news, is the good news coming from a far country. This “good news” has particulars. They are:deliverance, peace, and hope. This “good news” has a permanancy. It is news of conditions which will not be altared and changed to a negative state. This “good news” involves a provider and provision. It is the “good news” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it is a saving Gospel. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” – Romans 1:16 The people targeted by the “good news” Gospel message is “everyone” and salvation is given to “everyone that believeth”. This means that the “NEWS” goes out to people: North, East, West, and South. Praise God that in a world of “bad news” there is the “good news” that Jesus saves anyone who will trust Him as Saviour for the Gospel “…is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
