Peace on Earth

Peace on earth is a restricted reality. It is personal and a by product of a supernatural working of salvation in the heart of the believer. It is rare and misunderstood by the worlds masses for it does not seem possible to exist upon a war-torn earth. Peace was left with disheartened Disciples by the departed Lord for another Comforter came in the Lord’s absence. His presence in the life of the believer is “peace giving.” “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27

Peace on earth is enjoyed now and will one day be celebrated throughout this earth and no one will hear sirens warning of another incoming rocket. Peace on earth will be reflected in the faces of children for no longer will a child have to live under fear of abuse and harm. Peace on earth will be proven for no military equipment will be seen being shuffled to battlefields. Peace on earth will be personified in the Person of the Prince of Peace. An acrostic of the word, PEACE, forms in my mind. Precious, Eternal, Almighty, Christ, Enthroned. Those truths added together, spell: PEACE!!!
