War in Israel and Global Antisemitism

Many people are glued to the news and greatly concerned about this unrest around the world. Christians in America are shocked to see the mass support being given to Hamas, rather than Israel. We wonder, how can it be that so many of our U.S. Colleges are staffed by anti-Israel faculty members and so many of the student bodies are on the streets protesting Israel’s fight and in favor of the Muslim terrorist organizations? Why is Israel at war and why are so many against Israel?

May I offer food for thought? I would suggest that it is not without significance that Russia is now sitting down at the table with Iran, and North Korea is giving support to Hamas. I would suggest that it is not without significance that China is an ally with Russia. All these powers are anti-God and anti-Israel! I also would mention that some of the brightest and most reputable prophetic scholars view these very powers as a part of the end time confederation of Nations coming up agaist Israel in the final battle of the ages, culminating with the utter destruction of Israel’s enemies when Christ returns.

I also will point out that the primary “fueling” of Antisemitism is Satanic in origin. During the coming tribulation upon this earth, after the Church has been raptured out, Satan will be cast out of heaven and persecute Israel and particularly the sealed 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel. “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.” – Revelation 12:13 We believe that the “woman” referenced is Israel and the “man child” was the Christ Child for Jesus, in terms of His human nature, was Jewish!

We need to understand that Hamas is not looking for a two State solution but rather the destruction of Israel! Satan, down through the ages, has stirred up hatred of the Jewish people and is the principal actor today, including in America. We know of the intention of Hitler and the goal of the Nazi’s in W.W.II.

You are free to make up your own mind concerning all that is going on in this world. I am not so foolish to set a date for the Rapture of the Church but I will say that prophetic students of Scripture should not be so quick as to brush all these developments aside. If there ever was a time in which lost sinners should get serious about their soul condition, its now! Are you ready for the Rapture? This is a good time to run to the truths of Acts 16, asking the same question and complying to the same instruction. “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” – Acts 16: 30-31
