“Yet I Believe”
“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” – I Peter 1:8
We have not seen the blessed face, of the One we love.
We have not walked the streets of gold, in that home above.
We still believe and still rejoice; we know that He is real.
We know the fullness of His glory and our soul is thrilled.
Our faith beholds Him in His Word, we trust His right to lead.
We dare not lean upon our thoughts or what our eyes can see.
We walk by faith and not with sight or what our feelings show.
We simply trust our unseen Lord and thus our love will grow.
