“Despair to Deliverance”
“The misery of a broken heart and mind uncleared to think. Water from a stagnant stream, unsafe to use or drink.
The memory of a failing past with nothing good to claim. The tragedy of empty life, composed of guilt and shame.
At last, I heard the wondrous truth that Jesus died for me; He took my sins upon Himself and died upon the tree.
He arose again with living proof, sins penalty He claimed; I trusted Him, He saved my soul, Blessed be His name.
The clouds were gone and light appeared, salvation came to me; The weight of sin, He took away, my blinded eyes could see.” Chuck Peters – 9/15/2023
