“Shepherd’s Field”
Oh, wondrous night in Shepherds Field, when skies lit up with glory; Announcement of the Saviour’s birth, the Christmas Gospel story.
Oh, frightful night in Shepherds Field, when hearts were struck with fear; The keepers of the sheep were shocked, the Angel had appeared.
Oh, hopeful night in Shepherds Field, peace on earth will come; The Lamb who’s born in Bethlehem, will sit upon His throne.
Oh, glorious night in Shepherds Field, the Prophet’s words not lost; The birth of Christ, a manger now, yet soon, the rugged cross.
Oh, holy night in Shepherds Field, with Angel’s presence known; The anthem in the skies above, God’s glory clearly shown.
Oh, joyful night in Shepherds Field, the tidings of His birth; Eternal God yet very Man, come down to lowly earth.
